Using Oyster
By using Oyster you agree to these terms. You must be at least 16 to use the app, and if you are under 18 you confirm you have verifiable consent from a parent or guardian.
Your account
Keep your details accurate and your login private. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.
Not medical advice
Oyster is not a medical device, a diagnosis, or a treatment. Its AI features are for information and education only, so please consult a qualified clinician for health concerns and never rely on the app in an emergency.
Fair use
Please do not use Oyster for anything unlawful, infringe our or anyone's intellectual property, scrape or reverse-engineer the app, train other models on our outputs, or interfere with how the service runs.
What you can use
Oyster owns the app and its technology. We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your own personal or authorized use.
Shopping and payments
Oyster works as a marketplace that connects you with products. Sellers are responsible for their own product details and returns, and any auto-renewing subscription continues until you cancel it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Oyster is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, and our total liability is capped at USD 100 or the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months, whichever is greater.
Ending things
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and you can close your account whenever you like. Some clauses, like liability and intellectual property, carry on after your account ends.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are settled by arbitration in Lagos. Reach us at legal@oysterskin.com.
